The final concert of Nightingale’s 2022-2023 season is a celebration of music, magic, and mysticism. What is this great power, that hearts may be driven to feel wonder, thrill, horror, even love, by nothing but a careful arrangement of sound waves? Is every musician a magician?

Witness an evening of ritual, spells, and otherworldly sounds as we delve into the mysterious connections between magic and music. Featuring works from Hildegard von Bingen, Meredith Monk, and R. Murray Schafer, as well as three world premieres from members of Nightingale, Magic. is a concert experience like no other.

This project is led by Nightingale member Nicholas Ford.
