You experience one third of your life here... in dreams.
DREAMS is a choral concert experience presenting a set of six musical dreams one might have in the course of a night. The set features ensemble and chamber music from Nightingale vocalists, dancers Chloe Chua and Olivier Besson, music by Eric Whitacre, Edie Hill, Gabriel Jackson, Judith Weir, and two world premieres from Nightingale's own Laura Nevitt and John Haukoos. DREAMS explores various REM visions - the classic "flying dream" in the mind of Leonardo da Vinci, our deepest subconscious desires, trains, juxtaposition, space and time, exile, sleepiness, and wakefulness. The program closes with "a true blue dream of sky," which celebrates the vivid world around us in waking life, ending with the text:
